At https://www.leadq.co, we take privacy seriously and are committed to protecting the personal information of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and share opt-in information collected through our website.
Collection of Opt-In Information
We collect opt-in information from users through various forms on our website, including email subscriptions, contact forms, and event registration forms. This information may include, but is not limited to, names, email addresses, and phone numbers. We only collect opt-in information that is necessary for the purpose it was provided for.
Use of Opt-In Information
The opt-in information collected through our website is used to provide our users with the services they requested, such as email newsletters, event updates, and customer support. We may also use this information to personalize the user experience on our website and to improve our products and services.
Google User Data
When you connect a Google Calendar to LeadQ, you authorize us to access your calendar solely for scheduling. We use the Google Calendar API to (1) read your free and busy times so the assistant only offers open slots, and (2) create, update, and cancel the appointment events that you or your leads book through LeadQ. We request the narrowest scopes needed for this: calendar.events to manage the appointments we create, and calendar.freebusy to read availability. We do not read, download, or store the contents of your other calendar events.
Retention and Deletion of Google User Data
We store only the Google authorization token required to keep your calendar connected and the details of appointments booked through LeadQ. This data is retained only while your calendar remains connected. You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from your LeadQ dashboard, which immediately revokes our access and deletes the stored authorization token. When you disconnect, or when you close your LeadQ account, we delete the associated Google user data from our systems. You may also review or revoke LeadQ's access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Use of AI and Limited Use of Google User Data
LeadQ uses artificial intelligence to power its conversational assistant. Conversation messages and, where relevant to a booking, appointment details are processed by our third-party AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), through its commercial API and only to generate replies and manage bookings in real time. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train any generalized or foundational artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
LeadQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Facebook and Instagram Data
When you connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account to LeadQ, you log in with Facebook and choose what to connect. Depending on what you turn on, we receive: submissions to your Page's Facebook lead forms (the details the person entered, such as name, email and phone number); messages that customers send to your Page on Messenger or to your Instagram account, with the sender's public name; and the Page or account name and the access token needed to keep it connected.
We use this data only to provide LeadQ to the business that connected it: adding leads to your contacts, letting your assistant reply to your customers on your behalf, and showing you every conversation in your LeadQ dashboard. Messages are processed by our AI provider as described in the section on our use of AI above. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Retention and Deletion of Facebook and Instagram Data
We keep the access token only while your Page or account stays connected. You can disconnect at any time from your LeadQ dashboard, which stops our access and deletes the stored token. Leads and conversations stay in your LeadQ account until you delete them or close your account, at which point we delete them from our systems. You can also remove LeadQ from your Facebook settings under Business Integrations, or ask us to delete your data by emailing info@leadq.co.
Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the opt-in information collected through our website from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or destruction.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our privacy practices. If we make any changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and post the revised version on our website.
